My top 10 moments of Project K

排名不分先後...

1) When Serena's chair broke when she rushed to sit her fat ass on it during one of those team games at KR.

2) When the Cambodian kid James pointed to the pile of cow dung and screamed "Serena!"

3) When we held hands and jumped into Bassac River together.

4) When the Tuktuk driver in Siem Reap yelled "Oh Mi God!" when he went the wrong way and drove us to Angkor Night Market which turns out to be a convenience store and not a night market.

5) When the Siem Reap tuktuk drivers swarmed towards us desperately the moment we alighted the bus at the bus station.

6) When we were crazily splashing water and throwing sand at one another in the warm shallow waters of Silhanoukville beach.

7) When we were all feeling homesick while reading out our letters specially written home.

8) When we were singing If We Hold On Together while getting high on Tiger Beer at the Cambodia Brewery.

9) When Dexter was wrapped up only in his towel and flipping a female disposable underwear during one of his birthday forfeits.

10) When we were on the tuktuks braving the cold winds at the break of dawn on our way to Angkor Wat.

And here are some more photos taken on the trip at an island village Koh Rumdual.........

Smashing holz in Cambodia

Can't believe how 3 weeks passed by so quickly. I'm already back in Sg and down with post-trip depression and a bad diarrhoea....

It was really quite an experience to have a taste of many aspects of life in Cambodia - learning their language and culture, marvelling at the beautiful sunsets and nightskies, getting adventurous with streetside food, jaywalking in the middle of disorderly traffic, and more meaningfully observing how the locals get so contented with the miserable amounts of everything they have in their lives.

I must say this trip would not have been enjoyable without the company of my 22 other fellow project team members...hope all these newfound friendships continue to stay strong in the years to come.......and was both glad and relieved everyone had fun on the trip and came back home safe and sound.

Still suffering from fatigue...so shall talk about the happenings in detail in my next entry ba...meanwhile, here're some photos i took on the trip...
