Strength

This is perhaps one of the most dreadful CNYs i've ever had in years, but we made it thru'. We had a good reunion dinner and we ate steamboat twice, yesterday and today. We shook hands and entertained guests like we have always did. The strength that binds us together remained strong, if not stronger.

Tomorrow we will hold hands and walk to the battlefront. We will face the enemy with no fear, for the only thing to fear is fear itself.

Hang in there, little boy. This is not the time to run away.

Cold winds

The cold winds woke me up at dawn.

They came to forewarn me of the difficult days ahead.

Ernest wants to....

1 Read and write....descriptive, reflective, expelling, tumultuous, tranquil, me.

2 Travel....The Philippines, Shanghai, Japan, Laos, Vietnam (again!).

3 Run...run to rejoice, run to escape...many many miles ahead.

4 Reunite with all his good friends...celebrate the end of one journey and the start of another...together.

Searching my literary soul

Have been wanting to search my literary soul, so decided to get down to some well-acclaimed fiction. I hope it helps me develop some skills and style in short story writing for my Creative Writing course in SMU this semester.
