econs mock camp

Been having so much fun at the econs mock camp over the past few days. Even though some of the econs dudes are having problems with their bidding of modules, we still had lots of fun together as if we really were the freshmen.

Sentosa was great fun.,..i haven't relli swam in the sea for ages and surprisingly there were actually some hot bikini babes around for the guys to ogle at.....managed to get to know a few guys and girls from the other econs block, and they are just as whacky as we are...ok i don't mean to make them sound like aliens, but it's great knowing all econs dudes work hard and play harder!

Karaoke after sentosa was lagi fun...my first time singing with the econs dudes. I'll always remember how we bounce up and down on the sofa singing 恋爱ing and 孙悟空.

I've also met the freshies from my OG...we had the highest attendance at the Marche pre-orientation dinner amongst all OGs. Lucky there were no extremely loud or quiet ones.....
Looks like econs camp's gonna be a blast....let's all pray it doesn't rain on both days.

Unagi Festival

It's the Unagi Festival at my family's favorite Japanese restaurant, Sakuraya Sashimi House (http://www.sakuraya.com.sg/)

Unagi means EEL in japanese. Whether grilled, steamed or fried, it's definitely one of the most popular seafood dishes anytime, anywhere. Every year at around this period of time, it's the unagi season and Sakuraya will import some of the freshest unagi to singapore and throw an unagi-party for all japfood-lovers like me and my family!

papa's advised not to eat too much sea food...so he had the oyako-don instead...



haven't had such great stuff in ages...just look at how delighted my sis was...





And then i got impatient with my sis takin' all those pics so i forgot all about posing a shot with my mom...*munch munch munch*




Papa's first shot in 9 months. He used to buy sashimi from sakuraya every weekend without fail, but now just weeks after his post-cancer treatment, the oyakodon (chicken) is the most he's allowed to eat.

Looking forward to the next visit here@sakuraya when i can bring him back for sashimi again.

Hard-earned money...

Received my first pay cheque today. And then i think it's all a plan my cousin had laid down for me.
I had to do stocktaking inside the -18 deg celcius coldroom for a few hours today, and i wasn't even properly clothed. Couldn't tolerate the temperature after a while cos i couldnt even move my fingers and all those inventory IDs were so badly scribbled that i can't even read them myself....i felt like a snowman when i came out of the coldroom.



It was literally bone-chilling and i couldn't even stand still cos my feet were numb like hell..so i went out to look for an additional pair of socks...no socks so i used a pair of gloves as replacement. Sad huh??

Gonna continue this thing for a few more days. I am Ernest, the invincible Snowman.
